As simple as Click

      I've just watched 'Click' movie for several times before, yet I've always been touched by the way it gets us its message implicitly. Mungkin memang keliatan sbeagai film yang standard, cuma sekedar film komedi dari Adam Sandler. Tapi film ini ngajarin banyak hal buat kehidupan...

Kita semua punya remote masing-masing. We all have the tool. Kita sendiri yang milih gimana sikap dan tindakan kita. We, alone, decide what respond we'll give for any current situation. Banyak orang yang bilang life is 10% what happen to you and 90% your respond depends on it. And it's true. 

Banyak orang kayak Adam Sandler, who wish to skip the time whenever they have to face tears, pain, fight, or disease. We are so impatient. Kita selalu berharap kita selalu sampe di ujung pelangi. Kita mau mencapai puncak tanpa mau mendaki gunung dan menaiki lerengnya. That is such non-sense purpose.

Kita melewatkan hal-hal yang kecil, kita cuek sama keluarga, kita ngeremehin hubungan sama orangtua kita, kita bersikap kasar setiap kali kita kesal, kita ga pernah bener2 ngeluangin waktu untuk org yang kita sayangi, to even tell them that we love them. We are way too embarrased. Banyak film yg akhirnya pengen nyadarin kita, kadang ketika kita ud deket sama kematian, baru kita sadar that every little things in life means so much bigger in our heart. 

Unfortunately, not everyone is being that lucky. Banyak yang akhirnya sadar ketika semuanya uda terlambat. Kita harus liat ke belakang dan tanya ke diri kita sendiri, are you happy for what have you done and what you haven't?

So when we realize that something's been wrong, we all could fix it. Penyeselan ga selalu datang terlambat, in my humble opinion :)

Dan di film CLICK kita juga bisa liat, seberapa banyak pun uang kita, seberapa tinggi jabatan kita, seberapa keren rumah yang kita punya, it all doesn't matter in the end. It does take a lot of sacrifices. Dan sayangnya banyak orang-orang yang ngorbanin keluarga untuk dapetin gaji yg lebih besar, mobil yg lebih bagus, baju yg lebih mahal. Mereka gak ada ketika anak2nya ikut lomba di sekolah, atau ketika istrinya melahirkan, mereka ga punya waktu untuk ngajarin anak balitanya belajar jalan, dan waktu mereka ngerjain peer, atau main-main di akhir pekan.

They keep thinking that bigger paycheck means bigger happiness inside the family. And so life goes on, and growing old seems as one and only option, and various diseases start to comes over, and the feet gets weak, hair gets bald, eye gets blur, and suddenly you never feel the beauty in life anymore.

Your little kiddo has gone too far, searching for some lesson you've never taught them about. They manage to stand in their own feet and they don't think they have to be there for you, because you never were..long long time ago :(

Family comes first. Little things are actually the most treasure you'll find in life. Ya, there will be some moments when you get sad, and desperate, and dissapointed. But you'll get through it. Every moments worth the life lesson. Learn, and do not chase the rainbow's edge...You'll find nothing :') thankyou for the lesson today.
